Role Title: IBM Software Licence Management
Location: Hybrid/Knutsford (3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Inside IR35
Role Description:
* ILMT Maintenance/data accuracy (ongoing)
* Extraction of ILMT Computers report/Operational Servers (Service Now)
* Identification/removal of ceased and AWS Servers
* Re-classifying instances if misreporting (incorrect component to product mappings)
* Manual exclusions - Cold DR/Bundled products
* Extraction of regular ILMT reports/audit snapshots to assess current compliance position.
* Support IASP Audit (Client)-Twice yearly audit reporting to IBM: April to September -Products with PVU metrics. October to March- All products/All metrics
* Extraction/Provision of data/reports to as required by Client
* ILMT audit snapshot/Hardware report/computers report/dashboard snapshot
* Extract of all current Operational Servers (Service Now)
* VM (host/cluster) data from Compute team
* Regular calls with Client to discuss progress against actions/data requirements
* Engagement with all SMEs/Product Owners to provide data/evidence requested by the Client for all non-PVU-based products (including Mainframe)
* Internal review of Mainframe 'consumption' figures in agreement with Mainframe Team
* Request for additional software data from SAM Governance Team for Computers not in ILMT. The client will provide server list based on their review against ILMT (hardware) data provided.
* Follow up to provide additional data/evidence following review by the Client.
* Validation/Follow up of discrepancies identified by Client
* Review/actioning of manual ILMT updates following audit
* Informal internal PVU licence True-up - for early detection/remediation of any risk issues.
* Assessment of risk impact of ineligible Technologies
Other:
Review/analysis of ILMT computers with Issue reports to identify/address issues ( eg Servers without software scans/VM manager data) with GTSM Tooling Team/Platform Team/AppTeams as needed : eg Servers without software
Monthly SCRT report tracking to ensure within entitlement.
