Description Assistant Accountant: Collaborating with senior finance staff to prepare annual statutory accounts and streamline financial processes. Managing and supporting finance team members in daily operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash management. Assisting in the creation of budgets, forecasting, and developing key performance indicators. Producing management accounts and dashboards, monitoring income and expenditure, and preparing VAT returns. Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements and maintaining robust financial records. Profile The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess at least some of - if not all - of the following: Working toward a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent). Possess strong time management skills. Aptitude for financial IT systems. Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration within the team.
