We are recruiting for Asset Management Officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Asset Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £34,314 - £37,035 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are looking for experienced Asset Management Officers to support our in-house Asset team. You will have a great understanding of property construction, planned maintenance, the ability to manage diverse property portfolios and experience in working in Social Housing.
The successful applicants must have excellent project management skills, coupled with a proactive and driven approach to work. You will have a keen eye for detail and be methodical in your approach, with excellent numeracy and literacy skills and knowledge of report writing and attention to detail is key. You must also have a great understanding of property construction, planned maintenance, the ability to manage diverse property portfolios and experience in working in Social Housing.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example ILM/NVQ Level 4 in Management or HNC in Building / Construction.
An understanding of stock condition surveys, HHSRS, WHQS, data collection and building life cycle costing.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit sites and attend meetings.
