CK Group are recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join a technical and engineering consultancy company. This role can be either remote or hybrid, with travel required to the company's site based near Dorking. This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months. The Company: Our client is a global leader in technical consultancy and engineering, with a diverse team based in various countries worldwide. They are now looking to add to their Energy Engineering Solutions Division. As a Product Regulatory Consultant, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the company's clients' products comply with legal and technical requirements, by helping businesses navigate complex regulatory landscapes. The company offers a salary in the range of £40-50,000pa depending on experience, as well as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, the option to buy more holiday, healthcare cover, pension, life assurance, recruitment referral bonus, and 4 half days paid leave for STEM Ambassadors. Regulatory Compliance Consultant role responsibilities: Assess products against legislation and standards Research materials and their applications across industries Develop compliance documentation, including technical files, test data, and risk assessments Deliver sound regulatory advice to a diverse client base, including manufacturers, trade associations, and regulators Manage projects effectively, ensuring they meet cost and time budgets Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attend industry events, and promote our services Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: A degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, materials science, engineering, environmental science) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp attention to detail - essential Proven industry experience these fields: chemistry, materials science, engineering, environmental science Knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, or Ecodesign - desirable Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials used in electrical and electronic products - desirable Previous technical consultancy experience - desirable Progress towards Chartered Status or security clearance - desirable For more information or to apply for this Product Regulatory Consultant position, please contact Victoria Walker on (phone number removed) or email (url removed).
