What you will do As a member of the BMS Pre-Sales team you will be instrumental in driving profitable growth, working closely with external and internal partners to make Johnson Controls the BMS provider of choice. The pre-sales engineer will lead the solution development, design, costing and technical value proposition in response to customers specifications and client requirements.How you will do it Analyze Project Specifications – Assess technical requirements for BMS integration, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.Collaborate with Key Stakeholders – Work closely with external and internal stakeholders to develop optimized and cost-effective BMS solutions.Engage with Subcontractors & Suppliers – Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and competitive services/products.Develop Detailed Pre-Design Documentation – Prepare technical documents, including system architecture, technical solution descriptions, and compliance checklists.Work on Value Engineering (VE) Designs – Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising functionality or performance, ensuring the most efficient solution for the project.Enhance Proposal Strategy – Incorporate client feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights to refine technical proposals and contribute to project success.Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Align designs with UK industry standards, building regulations, and energy efficiency mandates to maintain project viability.Develop Cost Estimates & Walkthroughs – Create detailed cost breakdowns, ensuring transparency in scope-to-cost alignment.
