The Role
:
As an Asbestos Consultant, you'll conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, demolition, and reinspection surveys.
You will occasionally be required to cover sites in the surrounding counties of Somerset and Dorset.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform asbestos sampling and utilise TEAMS asbestos database software for reporting.
2. Produce detailed asbestos survey reports.
3. Assist in managing large-scale projects and pricing complex surveys.
4. Complete risk assessments and method statements.
5. Coordinates with clients and contractors.
6. Maintain and calibrate equipment.
7. Ensure compliance with UKAS, HSG, and HSG regulations.
8. Manage safe waste storage and disposal.
9. Complete IQC, MQC, RICE, and AIMS as required.
Requirements:
10. Previously worked as an Asbestos Consultant or in a similar role.
11. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy.
12. Must have a BOHS P qualification.
13. Competency in conducting various asbestos surveys.
14. Ideally, have BOHS P, P, and P qualifications.
15. At least 2 years of experience in an asbestos surveyor role would be beneficial.
16. Skilled in TEAMS, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office would be beneficial.
17. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
18. Full UK driving licence.
