Payroll Assistant Up to £32,000 West Sussex - Hybrid working Key Responsibilities: Assist with end-to-end payroll processing on a monthly basis Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry Calculate statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP Support with payroll queries from employees Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits Liaise with HMRC and stay up to date on legislative changes About You: Previous experience in a payroll position (in-house or bureau) Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation High level of accuracy and attention to detail Confident using payroll systems and Excel Excellent communication and organisational skills
