Please see further details here www.cisl.cam.ac.uk This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Finance Coordinator that offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your accounting skills across a broad range of modules, gain supervisory experience and carry out financial management and reporting activities in a dynamic institute with an international presence. Based in CISL's Cambridge office, this role will focus on financial management and reporting activities, contributing to the review of processes and procedures, checking, processing and paying supplier invoices including for contractors, invoicing clients and undertaking credit control, while ensuring accuracy of financial information in the University financial system and providing financial advice to senior staff. You will act as a key contact for CISL with University central finance, supervise junior members of staff and carry out general accounts administration. This position is part-time working 14 hours per week forming a job share with the current post holder with the requirement to work on Thursday and Friday. Key skills and experience: Educated to HND, HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience AAT qualified (or part qualified) or equivalent Relevant experience in an accounts/administrative based environment Experience in using standard Microsoft Office packages particularly excel Experience of using relevant reporting tools High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Demonstrate factual & theoretical knowledge of finance administration Ability to work in a team and to prioritise work effectively Experience of working with an information management system What you'll receive: 36 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays) pro rata.
