For standard projects, assign UK fleet and/or request BOM to arrange importation of EU-based fleet Identify periodic maintenance requirements and schedule this work effectively. Communicate to Shop Foreman regarding equipment requirements and configuration Communicate with the Branch Operations Manager and arrange to service equipment in time for rental bookings. Manage fleet of UR equipment including delivery vehicles and rental equipment. Agree with customer pickup / delivery times, specific requirements and site access Maintain the workshop areas along the principles of a 5S engineering system. Attend job site for start-up of complex/large scale projects Operational Metrics & Fleet Administration : Instruct the team regarding operational standards compliance Active involvement with branch Fleet List/Mix for serialised rental items While assigning fleet, checks the need for periodic vehicle safety inspections. Purchasing : Responsible for Instructs Branch Administrator on ordering / purchasing goods (e.g. PPE, consumables) Monitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levels Orders / purchases project related services (e.g. transport and cleaning). Requests BOM to order / request Capex items. Completes necessary administration to ensure accurate goods receipting. Other supportive activities: Collects/checks quality of credit card expenses. Completion of weekly inventory stock checks (e.g. cycle counts) and timesheets for Branch Administrator to process. Review Tachograph information to ensure legal compliance Step in for Branch Operations Manager during sickness, holidays (alongside branch admin Field Service Supervisor) Shop Foreman) This role will be a combination of workshop and office based activities. Your profile: Successfully completed secondary level education Experience operational field and/ or planning experience in an industrial/technical environment mechanical experience in one or more of these fields, diesel engines, industrial pumps or generators Team leader experience in a technical service organisation with emphasis on people management Proficient in spoken and written English Good working knowledge of MS Office Primary Qualities and Attributes for Success: Strong quality and customer orientation Ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and flexibility Sound understanding of health and safety at work, and how to achieve it.
