Overview
: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful site survey and project management of heating and cooling systems being hired to clients ranging from planned works, contingencies and fast response works.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Site and customer management.
2. Site surveys and audits.
3. Provide technical and practical support to engineers in the delivery of HVAC projects.
4. Quoting for all elements of a project, including equipment, labour and transport.
5. Building detailed RAMS for clients and the sales team.
6. Support technical standards and operational policies across every element of the business.
7. Project planning and management.
8. H&S compliance and awareness within RAMS for project delivery with guidance from HSEQ.
9. Participate in the OOH on-call managers rota.
Skills and Qualifications:
10. NVQ Level 3 in HVAC engineering or a related M&E field.
11. 2+ years of experience in HVAC, with a strong focus on cooling / heating systems.
12. Proficiency in MS software and able to use a tablet for reporting and auditing tools.
13. Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
14. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Personable equally with Engineers on the ground, and professionals in an office surrounding.
16. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and enjoy working under pressure.
17. Prepared to be an ambassador for the business even when things are tough.
18. Task/results driven, rather than time driven.
19. Mechanically minded assisting with problem solving.
20. Adaptable incoming workloads at a moment’s notice.
21. Able to manage several projects at a time, across multiple sites and geographical locations.
Desirable:
22. HVAC design software experience.
23. H+S qualification like NEBOSH or similar.
24. Previous project management experience.
25. Employment history within the Hire industry.
