We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Sales Advisor to join our busy Parts Plus Distribution Centre in Tonbridge. You will play an important role within a dedicated team responsible for prospecting, converting and retaining repeat customers for Parts Plus products across the Hendy Group and on behalf of Ford.
This opportunity is a great match for those with a background in hospitality, contact centres, and customer care. Previous experience in outbound prospecting/lead generation, handling complaints or the automotive industry are desirable but in no way essential as full training will be given in these areas.
The Opportunity:
As a Parts Sales Advisor, you will:
* Be key in delivering our customer satisfaction, volume and profitability objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
* Ensure telephone enquiries are promptly dealt with.
* Own and deliver your individual sales objectives consistently across each month.
Role responsibilities will include:
* Keeping in regular contact with our customers, introducing them to relevant offers that may interest them.
* Assisting the Parts Sales team by conducting outbound prospecting and lead generation activity to deliver warm, qualified sales leads into the business.
* Contacting customers by telephone/email to review their current orders and focus on retaining them as customers.
* Managing inbound enquiries (telephone and digital/online) in a timely and effective manner, delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction and customer service.
* Maintaining a high level of current product, process and system knowledge to deliver the very best expertise and service for our customers and ensure repeat custom.

About You:
* Self-motivated and reliable, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
* Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience;
* Adaptable multi-tasker with good organisational skills, able to work well within a busy environment, and meet deadlines;
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a confident telephone manner;
* Empathetic and able to handle difficult conversations;
* A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning with the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly, and a keen eye for detail;
* Core skills in computing (essential), including web systems, email and use of excel;
* Experience with CDK / Keyloop (advantageous but not essential); and
* A full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
