Job Description The Aerodynamics Production Planner is responsible for the smooth delivery of programs required for wind tunnel testing at Williams. They will oversee creation of new demand, the monitoring of parts in the system and closing off projects within the schedule. The Aerodynamics Production Planner will collaborate closely with Model Design, the wider Aerodynamics team, Model Shop, and the Aero Test Facilities to deliver various parts from around the team to hit key milestones within projects. They will proactively monitor the production process, reporting back changes to programmes to work out resolutions. The Aerodynamics Production Planner will be an all-rounder with a highly flexible approach and be able to cope with the varying demands from Aerodynamics teams and the wider business to drive delivery. Key Responsibilities: The Aerodynamics Production Planner will be responsible for: Collaborating with other departments to ensure established priorities and stakeholder demands are planned and delivered. Become the primary link from demand raised in WT planning tools into the various departments, in-house and Sub-contracted. The timely processing of all demand out of design into manufacture. Consulting with all staff in a timely manner to ensure accurate delivery times and report back to production. Drive communication with production controllers across the company to liaise on part delivery. Responsible for all incoming part management, including Delivery collection, part check in, part marking and part storage.
