Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are now looking for an Energy Manager to come in across multiple high profile Accounts, in supporting on Energy Optimisation for clients across their Estates of varying sizes and complexities.
You will take ownership of the North West to Midlands portfolio which includes prestigious customers in retail & corporate banking, including two showpiece sites in the North West.
Later in the year, you will have the chance to work with more public sector clients in government and healthcare.
Working in a strong, growing, and experienced Sustainability team but aligned against your accounts, you will be taking a lead role in delivering year-on-year energy-saving reductions to meet client’s ambitious energy and carbon reduction targets, developing and implementing energy cost-saving measures – advising on energy solutions, undertaking energy surveys etc.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an Energy professional looking to develop in a developing team within a world class multinational organisation with opportunity of international travel.
Happy to consider applicants of varying experience levels, from strong Building Services Engineers looking to specialise within Energy to Energy professionals, looking to advance to Manager level.
Excellent training and support with some scope of international travel available.
Specific actions will include:
* Identify, develop and implement new energy related opportunities.
* Carry out all energy related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance.
* Motivate and train colleagues and customer organisations in good energy management practices.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the energy requirements (legal, statutory and technical issues) which are applicable to and/or affect the Clients business.
* Promote energy efficiency and provide advice and support for the development of energy efficient practices.
* Develop and implement energy saving conservation measures (ECM’s) with associated Return on Investment (ROI).
* Develop and advise on energy solutions, developing these into working projects.
* Undertake energy surveys in customers premises (offices and retail).
* Develop and implement strategic briefs for design guides /standards to meet the customer objectives and brief customer departments accordingly.
* Provide full feasibility studies of costed initiatives / projects to reduce energy usage and/or supply (i.e. embedded generation/ CHP).
* Project management and implementation of initiatives.
* Provide monitoring and verification through the full cycle of the project to achieve cost and energy efficient solutions.
* Maintain a current level of utility market intelligence.
* Plan, monitor and achieve consumption / emission targets.
* Understand utility supply trading arrangements.
* Analyse utility profiles and benchmark against known data.
We need from you:
* An intermediate level of energy experience, ideally in the FM sector with industry recognised certification proving helpful.
