Business Development Representative

We're seeking an individual to join the team, full-time based on the outskirts of Bristol, in a newly created role. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on developing a business and has experience working for a family / country estate or similar setting. Personality-wise, you'll be pragmatic, and results-focused, but most importantly, you'll reflect Belmont's values of community, nature, and climate. Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) would be an advantage

As the organisation enters the next growth phase with additional sites across the UK, we are looking for someone to assist with our business development and sales
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with new and existing clients / partners through email, phone calls and social media
• Work with Senior Management Team to formulate a proactive approach to generating new clients and partners
• Research Belmont’s target market to identify avenues for lead generation
• Create a pipeline of leads
• Pitching to prospects via email and phone call (cold calling)
• Educating prospects on the benefits, features and pricing of the products and partnerships
• Assist in closing deals and negotiating prices
• Organise and attend Sales / Client meetings with Director of Business Development
• Prepare status reports on sales progress
• Maintain CRM data relating to prospects, clients and partners
• Liaise with the Senior Management Team on the progress against the sales strategy and emerging opportunities
• Actively participate in applicable Belmont events and meetings
• Produce documented regular progress reports
• Undertake other duties from time to time as reasonably requested by the COO

Interview Stage
· We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with initial recruitment ongoing for approximately four weeks. We will be interviewing candidates throughout the application process and will shorten this if the right candidate appears early in the process.
· We will begin with an introductory Teams call before conducting several in-person interviews at our Belmont Estate Office.
