KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Arts & Peacemaking Manager, Creative Director, Climate Action Officer: Festival & Events, CEO; wider Producing Team, wider Playhouse Team (Development, Marketing, Finance, Visitor’s Experience, Technical); Artitude Partners: Derry City and Strabane District Council, Northern Ireland Resources Network, Queen’s University of Belfast School of Research and Zero Waste North West and Freelance Artists
HOURS: 37.5 Hours
SALARY: £26-29k

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Climate Action Officer: Community Relations is a key role, planning and ensuring the successful delivery of community engagement and peaceful change activities, primarily as part of the ‘Artitude: Climate, Culture, Circularity’ project.
Working closely and collaboratively with the Climate Action Officer: Festival & Events as part of the Producing Team at The Playhouse and with project partners, the successful candidate will organise and deliver a series of Artitude Residencies over sustained periods of duration led by communities throughout the Derry City and Strabane District Council area. The residencies and associated activities will engage people in making positive change towards more sustainable ways of living.
We are looking for someone dynamic, highly organised and with excellent project management and communication skills. You will have a passion for theatre, music and the arts and experience of delivering engaging and creative community relations work. You will be committed to contributing to social change through the arts, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy, a common-sense approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
