Forest Farm Tree Services was established in 1990. We are a small to medium sized family run business with around 20 employees. We have also recently become an ARB approved contractor. We're located in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire - close to junction 28 of the M1.

About the Job:
We are looking for Arborist climbers of all levels and experience to join our existing teams and help the progression of the company to ensure we remain at the forefront of arboriculture in the East Midlands.
Tasks that applicants will be required to carry out:
1. Perform aerial Arboricultural works in line with the recommendations set out within BS3998, whilst ensuring that company and third party property is not damaged.
2. Follow strict health and safety procedures during the undertaking of their work.
3. Work within different teams, ensuring that good working relationships are formed for the benefit of all individuals. We will not tolerate anyone who feels they are above other members of a team. The work which we carry out is mentally and physically tiring and therefore all members of our teams need to be able to work together efficiently.
4. Complete a very varied workload, from large dismantles and crown reductions to stump grinding and tree planting, ensuring that a very high standard of work is maintained throughout all tasks.
5. Maintain and check company equipment.
6. Liaise and converse with members of the public and communicate effectively with company management.
Expected requirements:
1. Work 40hrs/week with overtime and weekend work often required as and when operational pressure dictates.
2. Be self-motivated, reliable and possess a positive attitude towards work and your professional development.
3. Be a problem solver and understand the challenges this job can sometimes present.
4. Share similar values to those that we hold as a company.
5. Co-operate with others in a team scenario ensuring that safety and work quality is maintained to the highest level.
6. Practice tree knowledge with NPTC units CS 30-31 / CS 38 and 39.
7. IPAF is preferred but not essential.
8. Wear provided PPE and work uniform at all times.
9. Have emergency first aid at work, experience and understanding of health and safety procedures and equipment inspection procedures.
