Skill Level:

Operating Parameters:
• Ensure all First Team areas are cleaned to a high professional standard.
• Assist the Kit Manager in various tasks, including the provision, laundering/cleaning, and organisation of kit and equipment.
• Handle urgent cleaning needs and spills promptly.
• Maintain and clean the recovery jacuzzi, performing regular water quality checks.
• Turn around facilities quickly and accurately to meet demand, especially pre- and post-matches or events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kit and cleaning storage areas and report any damages, hazards, or faults in a timely manner.
• Complete any administrative tasks relevant to the position.
• Undertake any additional reasonable duties to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
Essential Job Criteria:
• Experienced cleaning operative.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to clean to a high professional standard.

• Flexibility in work hours, including a willingness to work unsociable hours when needed.

Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience in professional football or similar environment in a kit and cleaning capacity.
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment.
This position contains physically demanding aspects which we determine to involve the following:
• Walking: Frequent walking, potentially exceeding 5,000 steps per day.
• Standing: Long periods of standing, such as while mopping a floor.
• Bending: Regular bending required for tasks such as cleaning floors, equipment, and skirting boards.
• Stretching: Regular stretching needed for cleaning mirrors, showers, and windows.
• Lifting: Lifting objects, such as vacuum cleaners weighing 7kg.
• Carrying: Carrying heavy items, including containers of liquid weighing up to 5kg.
