Job Title: Interim Exit Support Duration: 6 months Location: Midlands (Hybrid) Salary: £850 Outside of IR35 CK10043 Finatal is currently partnered with a fantastic PE backed manufacturing business on the brink of an exciting phase of transition. With potential exit and refinancing strategies on the horizon within the next 6 months, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic interim exit support consultant to drive their growth and expansion initiatives. Position Overview: As the interim exit support consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of their organisation by identifying and executing strategic initiatives to drive growth and enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with the executive team, you will lead efforts to evaluate potential exit opportunities. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in corporate development, financial analysis, and deal execution within the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities: · Work collaboratively with the Director of Strategy and M&A to support the refinancing transaction (likely to be in c.6 months’ time) · Build out and assess key areas of preparatory work required for a successful transaction. · Establish clear workstreams to ensure preparatory work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. · Lead a cross-functional working group to project manage various preparatory workstreams. · Support the management and engagement with external advisors and act as a conduit between advisors and the business. · Be part of the critical “deal team” during a transaction · Understand and manage interdependencies with internal and external business activities. · Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution. What they are looking for: · Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience of corporate refinancing transactions. · Accounting Qualified, ACA OR ACCA OR CIMA OR equivalent (ACA preferred) · Prior experience in PE is necessary · Although not essential, some experience of working in-house, in a large corporate, would be a benefit. · Detail-oriented, with proven analytical, numerate and critical thinking skills. · Able to engage, influence and collaborate with teams across the business. · Able to communicate clearly, challenge and influence. · Strong commercial acumen – able to make compelling and evidence-based recommendations. · Sector experience preferrable but not essential.
