Charity Manager - Waveney Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum About the Role: An opportunity has arisen to lead our Charity Office in offering crucial support services for families and individuals impacted by domestic violence and abuse. We have been established for over 40 years supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse and the Waveney and surrounding areas. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of impactful services, management of diverse contracts, and cultivation of strong partnerships. Your main role will be running and growing the small charity to offer more clients (victims and survivors of domestic violence the support they need to thrive and make a positive impact on their lives. You will oversee service quality, lead operational strategies, and provide support to a growing team. Reporting to Chair of Trustees, you will drive service delivery plans and ensure successful outcomes for the organisation and its service users. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices. Lead and support a dedicated team, of staff and volunteers, providing supervision, training, and professional development opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, funders, and commissioners. Working closely with Trustees and the Chairperson. Ensure compliance with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements. Identify new funding opportunities and support organisational sustainability strategies. Budget management and reporting for the Forum and Trustees with financial and operational details. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organisation’s goals and values. Responsibility for relevant data and the maintenance of recording systems (manual and computerised) relating to the work of Waveney Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum. About You: You are a compassionate and results-driven leader with a proven background in managing people, services and projects. What We’re Looking For: Ideally you'll have experience leading services in the charity or social care sector. Project Management and Contract Management experience. Strategic and operational planning expertise. Proven ability to manage diverse funding contracts and reporting requirements.
