Job summary Are you a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor)? We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Health Visitors to join the nurse bank and support delivery of the Healthy Child Programme in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are nationally recognised for our creative and forward-thinking approach in supporting our communities, this includes working closely with our partners in the Community Family Hubs, Children's Social Care and local GP services. We have developed a robust Single Point of Access for the 0-19 service and are able to offer the opportunity to work either in caseload or on the single Point of Access. You will work as part of a skill mix team being supported by Senior and Specialist Health Visitors in practice and will work in a variety of community localities to support service need. We offer regular supervision and PNA support. All staff working in the 0-19 service in community settings are issued with a lone working device to support your safety. We offer a variety of work patterns and would welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified Health Visitors.
