Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on our job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position; it does not reflect the maximum salary for the role over time. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills and experience demonstrated during the interview process.
What you will be doing:
* The Treasury Accountant is part of a team responsible for processing payments, including funding prepaid cards and electronic fund transfers.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies and inquiries, monitor funds received, and make related transfers and accounting entries.
* Generate Funding Requests and accompanying backup documentation.
* Initiate payments (Direct Deposit, Wires, Checks, Cards).
* Generate payment instructions for our Card Provider partners.
* Monitor funds received from clients to facilitate immediate disbursements.
* Cash Management/banking functions including reconciliations and maintaining integrity of daily cash position by clients.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies and inquiries, including incoming and outgoing payment variances.
* Reconcile bank accounts, client deposits, and card provider terminal balances.
* Act as Finance (Treasury) SME on applicable technology projects.
* Support Invoicing Team as required.
* Various other Accounting/Finance related Functions as requested.
What you’ll bring:
* Completed post-secondary diploma or degree. In the field of Accounting, Finance or Business would be considered a benefit.
* Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
* Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Outstanding organizational and follow-through skills.
* Fast learner, detail-oriented, efficient working style, and ability to work independently.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and very tight deadlines.
* Excellent analytical, thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
