Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Order Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fenestration industry, with proficiency in processing software such as Logikal or Business Micros. Knowledge of additional software like Schucal and Evaluate is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately process customer orders for aluminium and uPVC windows and doors using industry-specific software. - Review and interpret technical surveys to ensure orders are correctly configured for manufacturing. - Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes for materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely procurement. - Communicate with customers to clarify order details and address any queries promptly. - Maintain organised records of all orders and related documentation. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless order fulfilment and adherence to schedules. - Assist in raising purchase orders and manage the completeness of job files to ensure all parts are ordered and delivered on time. - Perform general administrative duties associated with the order processing role. Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience in an order processing role within the window and door manufacturing industry is essential. - Proficiency in processing software such as Logikal or Business Micros is required. Familiarity with Schucal and Evaluate software is highly desirable. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. - Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
