1.3Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
1.3.aEnsure that all areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard at all times.
1.3.bAdhere to company policies at all times.
1.3.cMaintain health and safety standards.
1.3.dEnsure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
1.3.eFollow site specific policies and procedures, regarding confidentiality & social media & all mentioned in The Redcar Memorandum copy given on Induction.
1.3.fFollow Honeydew reporting procedures.
1.5Details of the Role
1.5.aTo liaise daily with your supervisor reporting to them any information relevant to the provision of the service
1.5.bTo complete all allocated domestic tasks shown on the work schedule for a specific area
1.5.cTo maintain all equipment used in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
1.5.dTo report any signs of pest infestation to your supervisor.
1.6Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / Objectives
1.6.aTo Maintain your personal hygiene within acceptable standards
1.6.bTo ensure you observe and abide by all local rules and policies relevant to the site where you work.
1.6.cYou must report to your supervisor if for any reason you cannot complete the service.
1.6.dTo perform any other duties which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company
1.6.eMaintain full compliance with ISO 9002 requirements for which you have a responsibility.
1.6.fAll staff must ensure they are fully compliant with infection control policies and procedures which include
Attendance at mandatory training
Take all reasonable care to minimise the likelihood of healthcare-associated infections occurring to patients, visitors and staff (including yourself)as a consequence of actions and/or omissions at work
Co-operate with ICS in ensuring that all statutory and other requirements are complied with –in particular, compliance with the Health Act 2006:Code of practice for the prevention and control of healthcare –associated infections
2.2Professional Qualifications
NVQ level 2 in Healthcare and BICS cleaning certificate. Not essential as training will be given. To complete IMPACT training and follow OCS best practise.
2.3Experience
Cleaning experience desired but not essential as training will be given.
