We are recruiting for an I.T Support Engineer who will support internal users (both in HQ at Redhill and remote). You would be the expert for corporate servers and systems, providing technical support for IT equipment.
Role Requirements – I.T Support
1. Build, maintain, and support the physical and virtual office environment including network storage, virtual environments, email, and backup/recovery systems.
2. Maintain antivirus, patch management, and web filtering.
3. Responsible for maintaining telephony equipment and servers, as well as installation of telephones onto desks.
4. Daily maintenance and administration to ensure high network service.
5. Work with corporate IT infrastructure in HQ as well as remote offices and users.
6. Maintain software compliance, server applications, and licenses.
7. Monitor usage and performance to ensure that servers are working efficiently.
8. Manage email infrastructure including Exchange, cloud continuity services, SPAM filtering, and mobile device management (MDM).
The ideal candidate for the I.T Support role would have:
1. A degree in Computer Science or relevant experience working in a similar environment.
2. Experience working in a busy 100+ user network including remote sites/users.
3. Experience with VMware.
4. Experience with email services – Microsoft Exchange, spam filtering, cloud messaging, and continuity services.
5. Understanding of Windows OS administration, Active Directory management including Group Policies, user management, and PowerShell.
6. Experience with NAS, SAN (maintenance of server hardware and storage hardware).
7. IT Security experience – antivirus, hard drive encryption, client hardening, and authentication.
8. Experience in high availability environments including clustering and disaster recovery.
9. Understanding of IP network fundamentals.
10. Must be able to achieve CV Clearance.
