Job Description
Based at various cemeteries across the city, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements
You will have knowledge of cemetery procedure and grounds maintenance.
You will have Burial Qualification, eg ICCM; COTS/Customer care or willing to obtain this.
You will have PA1A & PA6A weed killing certification.
Responsibilities
You will undertake various disciplines of Cemetery/Gravedigging work and also work within general open spaces within the Environment Department, ensuring the required standards of workmanship are achieved.
The Individual
You will have the ability to drive/operate all relevant plant, eg compact tractor, excavator, pick-up, van, ride on grass cutter and various small plant. You will have memorial safety knowledge and be mechanically minded.
You will be good communicator, have the ability to deal with the public in a polite courteous manner along with the ability to work without supervision and under pressure.
In addition, you will have the ability to work outdoors in all weathers and have full driving licence.
