This exciting role is a blend of teaching French and providing general cover for other subjects, ensuring a varied and fulfilling experience for the successful candidate. The role also includes lesson planning and preparation as part of your teaching responsibilities. Key Responsibilities of French Teacher: Teach engaging and effective French lessons to students across a range of age groups and abilities. Provide high-quality general cover lessons in various subjects when required, maintaining a strong focus on student learning and engagement. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love of learning. The Ideal French Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching French. Flexibility to adapt to teaching other subjects as part of general cover responsibilities. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students. Strong organisational skills to manage planning and marking effectively.
