Prestigious Car Dealership - Bookkeeper/Accountant Opportunity at Oakdene Collection.
Our prestigious car dealership has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. We are seeking someone to assist in generating accurate and efficient monthly management accounts, alongside managing all bookkeeping and accounting for invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately manage bookkeeping and accounting, ensuring all invoices are properly accounted for.
* Generate monthly management accounts in an efficient manner.
* Use Sage software, integrated directly with our dealer management system.
* Carry out daily bank reconciliations to ensure effective cash flow management.
* Work collaboratively with the team and assist with accounts from other businesses within our group.
* Work closely with stock funding to ensure efficient cash flow is managed.
Ideal Candidate:
* Must have a strong background in bookkeeping and accountancy, capable of “hitting the ground running.”
* Should be able to produce financial reports, including management accounts, with ease from day one.
* Previous experience in the motor trade is advantageous, though not essential.
* Proficiency in Sage is required.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* Highly efficient, accurate, and detail-oriented.
While we will provide training specific to our business, we expect the successful candidate to make a meaningful contribution immediately.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
