TP Tutors is a leading tutoring agency dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised education to Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils in the Nottingham area. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced tutors to join our growing team and make a positive impact on the lives of students between KS2 and KS4.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing engaging and effective 1-to-1 tuition to SEN pupils outside of the mainstream school environment.
* Focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
* Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
* Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or holding an equivalent qualification in education or a related field.
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials.
* A current DBS certificate and willingness to subscribe to the Update Service.
What we offer:
* Competitive pay: Earn between £25 - £30 per hour, with the exact rate dependent on the funding provided for the pupil's tuition and your experience/expertise.
* Flexible hours: Work between Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Potential for additional hours may also be available.
