We are only taking applications from current second year students ABOUT THE ROLE As part of the Corporate Communications and Reputation Management (CCRM) team, you'll support the development and delivery of compelling communications, marcomms, and marketing campaigns that bring the University's strategy to life. From crafting engaging content to amplifying the University's voice across channels, you'll play a key part in shaping its reputation and impact on the world stage. These placements allow you to contribute to major work undertaken by the department, including national marketing, brand, and communication campaigns; media, PR, and corporate communication initiatives; new system/application development, data analysis and insight; and international recruitment and business partnership activities. You will bring a students' perspective to the role, valuable in ensuring the University is speaking to its audiences in the right way whilst providing a fresh outlook. ABOUT THE TEAM The placements are located in Pandon Building at City Campus. You will be working in a busy, multi-branched department with around 175 members of staff. The variation of work creates a vibrant and absorbing environment where you will not only get to work on your own tasks, but collaboratively with your own team, and also play a role in other activities that support the objectives of the wider department.. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you will be: Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative, and collaboratively as part of a team. Good IT skills with experience in the Microsoft Office suite. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to think creatively and methodically to solve problems.
