Autism West Midlands is a leading charity in the West Midlands for people on the autism spectrum.
We use our expertise to enrich the lives of autistic people and those who love and care for them. Our passionate, expert staff and volunteers work across all age groups and abilities, by providing personalised support.
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our purpose-built supported living service ‘The Burrows’ based in Droitwich Spa.
The Burrows is Autism West Midlands' newest supported living service opening in 2019. The Burrows supports 8 males with Autism to live independently within their own self-contained apartments.
The service is home to 8 males aged between 20-27 who enjoy meaningful activities and accessing the community. The Burrows benefits from individual garden access from each self-contained flat, an activity room in which the residents can take part in activities such as indoor archery, crafting activities, and even parties. The Burrows also has a sensory room and a quiet room where residents can go to chill out.
