As a Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive change within our communities. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting research and analysis to support the development of urban planning projects.
2. Preparing and reviewing zoning proposals, land-use plans, and development applications.
3. Engaging with stakeholders, including local residents and government officials, to gather input and build consensus.
4. Evaluating the environmental, social, and economic impact of proposed projects.
5. Keeping abreast of the latest urban planning trends and regulations.
Qualifications : To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
6. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
7. Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and land-use laws.
8. Excellent research and analytical skills.
9. Strong communication and presentation abilities.
10. Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, or other relevant planning software is a plus.
11. Previous experience in town planning or a related field is preferred but not required.
