Are you commercially minded with experience in monthly cost and value reconciliations and able to identify opportunities for cost savings? Youll offer operational support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance, along with the procurement of all sub-contractors and suppliers. Youll manage activities associated with EV infrastructure projects including ICP activities in line with our NERS accreditation. Are you able to plan, recruit and co-ordinate all operational resources for current and future works? Youll be responsible for tracking projects against milestones, planning resources, following processes to minimize WIP (outstanding cash), protecting us contractually, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. What youll bring Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction/project management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management in the electrical distribution industry Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once with meticulous attention to detail Skilled in identifying and resolving compensation events on projects Excellent communication skills to build relationships and interact with stakeholders, team members, and clients Understanding of the administration of contracts (NEC, ICE & JCT) SHEQ knowledge H&S legislation, CDM regulations and Environmental regulations Robust IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Full UK driving licence youll be travelling to sites across the UK Whats in it for you?
