Job Title: Protection Adviser

Salary: Competitive Salary Package
Locations: HQs in Wokingham and Bromley, with a UK wide branch network from which adviser staff are based.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 4:30pm (Saturdays are on a rota, 1 in 4 day off in lieu for working a Saturday).

We employ professionals with the ability to develop an expert industry knowledge whilst demonstrating a sincere attitude towards customer care. Above all, we expect you to make our clients’ mortgage journey simple and stress free.
Duties will include:
* Advising on and arranging pure protection / life insurance products, through growing and maintaining a client base from Mortgage Scout / LRG - introduced clients.
* Demonstrating the highest standards of protection advice and customer service, whilst optimising protection sales potential with a proactive approach to business development.
* Developing relationships with colleagues within Mortgage Scout and our estate agency partners, to maximise lead generation.
* Working closely with your dedicated administrator to ensure that cases moves from the point of application to on risk in a timely fashion, to deliver the best customer outcome.
Skills required:
* Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
* Exceptional organisational skill.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
* Have a proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets and expectations
* Possess a professional and flexible attitude, driven and passionate about mortgages & protection
* The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS Check
* Experience of working in a high-productivity, customer-focused environment.
* Expert knowledge of the mortgage and protection markets.
* The ability to build relationships with the estate agency team and other departments.
* Business development skills.
* Must have experience arranging multi-benefit protection, including but not limited to life assurance, critical illness cover (level/decreasing), family income benefit, income protection.
