Job Overview
This position requires a dedicated individual to manage information governance within the Western Health & Social Care Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies, and for promoting a culture of data protection and information security.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures.
2. Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
3. Provide training and support to staff on information governance matters.
4. Conduct audits and assessments to monitor compliance.
5. Act as the point of contact for information governance queries.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification and experience in information governance or a related field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
