Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department in Hartley Hospital for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic. The post is suited to a motivated and experienced domestic services worker. The post holder will provide a cleaning/ catering/ house keeping service for our inpatient unit ensuring National cleaning standards, PLACE requirements and CQC standards are met. Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning and Catering) to work as part of a team at Hartley Hospital, to carry out Cleaning and Catering duties and help us maintain the high standards already set within this department and in line with National Standards. We are looking to recruit a team member who have a flexible approach to their workload, can work to deadlines and show high standards of quality in their work. You will be expected to carry out a full range of cleaning duties. You must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude and a willingness to work within an acute mental health ward environment providing a high standard of cleanliness at all times. You must also possess the ability to work within a team or on your own as necessary with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices. The hours of this post Monday 8-4pm, Friday 1-7pm and Saturday 11-7pm.
