Job summary UHDB is seeking to recruit a Speciality Doctor in Rheumatology to join the well-established Rheumatology Department at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital & Royal Derby Hospital on a fixed term contract until Aug 25. The department's work involves the assessment, follow-up and monitoring of patients with inflammatory arthritis. Other diagnostic groupings such as the connective tissue diseases, metabolic bone diseases and osteoarthritis are well represented. The Rheumatology Department is also supported by registrars and Clinical Nurse Specialists and has access to specialist physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Joint and soft tissue injections as well as medical infusions are carried out.
