Job description Join our dedicated team at Hamilton House Residential Care Service as a Part Time Cook. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for our residents, ensuring that their dietary needs and preferences are met. Professional development through ongoing training and support. Key Responsibilities Plan and cook a variety of wholesome meals tailored to the dietary needs of residents. Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times within the kitchen. Manage stock levels and maintain records of food storage and preparation, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in ordering supplies and contribute to cost-effective menu planning. Work collaboratively with care staff to accommodate any special dietary requests. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate. Previous cooking experience in a care setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of dietary needs for elderly residents. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Benefits Hours: Day shift required to include weekends on a rota - 3 day shifts per week circa 18-22 hours Day shift times 7.30am - 13.30pm £12 per hour
