As a Jr. Designer, you will play a vital role in our internal design team, contributing to the creation of scaled and architecturally accurate space plans and visualizations that are essential to the solutions we provide to our clients. Working across a variety of sectors and markets, you will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and designers to meet diverse project needs.
In this position, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, partnering with the sales team and taking direction from the design lead. Your primary focus will be producing 2D layouts and creating small 3D/photo-realistic renders based on detailed input from clients and sales team members.
Candidates must be in easy travelling distance to Frimley and be able to work in office 2 days per week minimum.
Training toward an appropriate level or qualification will be provided following the successful completion of the probation period.
Responsibilities
* Create 2D and 3D Designs: Develop high-quality designs using various software tools to support sales team initiatives and client needs.
* Refine and Enhance Designs: Modify and upscale preliminary designs provided by the sales team, elevating them to a professional standard.
* Ensure Design Standards: Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices across all design outputs.
* Perform Calculations and Verifications: Conduct precise measurements and calculations to support design decisions and ensure the integrity of all outputs.
* Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with the sales team and clients, with guidance from the design manager, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the design process.
* Meet Deadlines: Adhere to project timelines, delivering accurate and high-quality designs on schedule.
Qualifications
* Passion for Design: Interest in design, with a focus on concepts related to interior design.
* Software Knowledge: Familiarity with photo editing software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is advantageous but not essential.
* Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in all aspects of design and project execution.
* Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate with team members and clients.
* Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Teamwork and Independence: Capability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
* Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and stay updated on evolving design standards, tools, and industry practices.
