LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) Day/Night Shuttle Work - Based in Burton on Trent
Pay Rate: £37,377 based on a 44 hour week - overtime available at circa £250 per shift
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift Patterns: Any 4 from 7 shifts - Days and Nights (No Saturday working)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a HGV Class 1 Day/Night shuttle driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
1. Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
2. Work any 4 from 7 on days and nights - week about - either 06:00 - 17:00 or 18:00 - 05:00 - No Saturday working involved
3. Perform local shuttle work in Burton on Trent
4. Handle live bed delivery of empty cans
5. Engage in minimal manual handling pulling and closing curtains - up to max 10 trips per shift
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
1. Have a minimum of 12 months 'on the road' commercial HGV Class 1 experience
2. Be flexible to cover days and nights - week about - planned 12 months in advance
3. Live locally to Burton on Trent
4. Be willing to cover local shuttle work between 2 sites in Burton - this is NOT distance work!!
5. Be comfortable pulling and closing trailer curtains
