Ads Performance Manager, Advertiser Success Team (AST)
The Advertiser Success Team (AST) works on optimizing account’s Sponsored Ads performance for Amazon advertisers. As an Ads Performance Manager, you will work with a portfolio of advertiser accounts and be responsible for helping them meet their advertising goals through opportunity identification and ads campaign optimization. We are looking for a hands-on, creative, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated Ads Performance Manager who will assist Amazon advertisers in optimizing their ads accounts to achieve their business goals. Additionally, an Ads Performance Manager also has the opportunity to test internal tools and gather/share insights with internal product and tech teams.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience interacting with clients (phone/email) and be flexible with changes. You will play a key role in growing the business by being the Sponsored Ads expert and developing ads campaign strategies and optimization recommendations to help grow clients’ businesses. Our environment is fast-paced and requires you to be comfortable working in a deadline-driven setting. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to explain recommendations to clients clearly and effectively. You should be able to thrive in ambiguous situations with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Attention to detail, solid capabilities in data analysis, judgment making, and multi-tasking (in terms of assisting multiple clients with different issues at one time) are crucial, along with a focus on customer delighting.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Help Amazon advertisers analyze their Sponsored Ads campaigns’ data, identify opportunities to optimize keywords, targets, and tactics for improving campaigns’ performance, and generate optimization recommendations for advertisers.
2. Engage and communicate with advertisers regularly to explain the logic and value of the optimization recommendations.
3. Recommend new ads products or tactics to advertisers based on their business goals and their campaigns’ current status.
4. Manage team projects or processes for various regular operations and continuously make improvements to them.
5. Partner with multiple internal stakeholders for smooth cross-team collaborations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Qualified CET 6 (College English Test) grade or more advanced English ability certificate
3. At least 3 years of work experience in operations or marketing-related functions
4. Experience managing clients with their business goals as targets
5. Superior communication skills as demonstrated by experience
6. Solid data analysis skills and flexibility in balancing project requirements and tight deadlines, keeping multiple projects moving on schedule
7. Fast learner who desires to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and ambiguous environment
8. Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player who is willing to roll up sleeves
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master’s degree
2. Demonstrated proficient English oral/written communication skills
3. Experience in online advertising or e-commerce
4. Skilled/experienced in data analysis (either professional or educational experience) with Excel
