The Dixon, Tower Bridge, an award-winning boutique style hotel part of Autograph Collection Hotels opened its doors in late 2018. Taking centre stage in the Tower Bridge neighborhood on Tooley Street, The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection is the new cultural hub for the capitals centre of artistic activity. The hotel won Luxury Hotel of the Year in London title at the Travel & Hospitality Awards 2024.
Named after John Dixon Butler, the architect who originally constructed the building in 1905 as a Magistrates Court and police station, the hotel takes inspiration from the areas vibrant cultural heritage, while also capturing its new wave of creative cool.?
The 193 rooms will redefine the traditional boutique hotel by seamlessly incorporating the local neighbourhoods culture through an artful mix of heritage design. Think simple brickwork, tall windows and modern furniture from British designers that will sit alongside more classic pieces, whilst curated artworks from local artists will hang on the walls.?
Cleverly reflecting the buildings purpose as a courtroom, the restaurant will serve as a neighbourhood oasis that will welcome not only hotel guests but also the local trade.
Our Shakedown restaurant offers a delicious menu taking Italian influences, traditional flavours and fresh British produce. Each dish showcases the very best of Italian cuisine and local British produce, making Shakedown one of the most exciting places to eat near Tower Bridge.

* To be proactive about learning about different products we offer; attend training and staff meeting sessions.
* To take initiative to create procedures or systems that benefit yourself and others (ie efficient checklists; set your par levels etc)
* To maintain excellent cleanliness and organisation habits in your areas of work; utilize checklists provided.
* To be an ambassador to the Dixon Hotel, Dominus Group and Marriott by promoting the company culture in a positive way
Profit
* To suggest and upsell and generate more revenue; participate in upselling incentives.
* Perform monthly stock take, ensure any stock discrepancies are explained.
* To order supplies as necessary for service; ensure not to run out of essential items.
* To double check every order to minimise errors and reduce wasteage
* Take ownership of the till and cash; correct float.
* To optimize your working day to fill every shift with productivity.
* To carefully monitor/update labels of food and drinks and follow FIFO system.
Person Specification
* At least 1 year of upmarket hotel Food and Beverage Supervisor or Team Leader experience required. A genuine passion for the Food and Beverage industry, with a desire to create exceptional experiences for our guests.
* An authentic and passionate approach to leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their best.
* A talent for identifying and nurturing future leaders within the team, with a focus on driving individual and team development.
* Exceptional organisation and planning skills. High attention to detail and accuracy great at managing ones own time and the time of the team
* Excellent command of English language
