Hours: Full time term time from 8:15 – 15:45
Salary: £120 – £200 per day experience dependent

Teaching Personnel are working with a friendly school in Southampton to find a Year 2 / KS1 Teacher to join their team. The school is a caring and supportive place where children are encouraged to be curious, ask questions, and enjoy learning both in the classroom and outside. They’re looking for someone who is kind, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with young children.

The ideal candidate will:
* Love teaching and want to help young children learn and grow in a fun and supportive way.
* Be able to plan and teach interesting lessons that keep children engaged and excited to learn.
* Have a positive attitude and always try their best to help children do well.
* Know what children in Year 2 need to learn, like reading, writing, maths, and other subjects.
* Be able to check how children are doing in their learning and use that to plan lessons that meet their needs and help them improve.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience of teaching in a primary school, Year 2 preferred.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
