The Team
As part of a wider EMEA Regional marketing team, this role sits within the Dolls team and will focus on managing our Disney Doll portfolio. You will work closely with the Senior Manager to define the EMEA strategy for Mattel and our partners Disney for their Dolls portfolio, as well as managing a wide variety of internal stakeholders such as global and local marketing teams, insights and digital marketing.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting an Assistant Brand Manager to be responsible for managing the Disney Dolls portfolio. They will provide strategic direction across product ranging, price architecture and go-to market approach, to ensure effective, creative and efficient implementation of Mattel’s category strategies and plans, whilst partnering with Disney EMEA to maximise opportunities across content and retail landscapes.

What Your Impact Will Be:
1. Contribute to the development of the regional brand strategies
2. Collaborate closely with the Global Brand Team (GBT) and with other members of the Regional Marketing Team (day to day communication) for effective brand management
3. Partner with Disney EMEA to co-develop franchise sell-in moments as well as marketing and retail plans that can be implemented in the region
4. Define the line architecture, pricing and volumes to deliver against defined objectives across the portfolio
5. Plan and execute joint summits and JBP meetings with Disney EMEA
6. Work in collaboration with local markets, monitor performance and gain constant insights on implementation results, sharing these results within the region and course correct where necessary
7. Partner with the GBT and Planning team to ensure smooth production and supply process including administrative tasks for setting up new product lines
8. Manage key trade show implementation, such as EMEA Showroom and Nuremberg Toy Fair.
9. Effectively track the A&P budget, managing the invoicing and purchase order process for Disney Dolls.
10. Provide insight and analysis reports, such as Circana and Internal POS reports to wider Dolls team and Disney EMEA
11. Work effectively within a matrix organisation and a virtual team
12. Manage relationships across Europe and with the Global Brand teams
What We’re Looking For:
13. Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Masters/Diploma) or equivalent qualification
14. Commercial/marketing experience within Brand Marketing in Toys, FMCG or licensed consumer goods (1-2 full-time years working experience)
15. Experience working within brand marketing or consumer products for a Licensor, or experience working with Licensors (preferably in the children’s entertainment sector) also an advantage
16. Ability to work in a wide variety of projects with aggressive deadlines, and can multi-task accordingly
