We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Site Auditor to join our team, supporting the delivery of Radio Access Network (RAN) and microwave radio deployment projects across telecoms sites in the UK. The successful candidate will ensure that deployment teams maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site, identify and report noncompliance, and act as a key escalation point for H&S issues. This role has a requirement to drive to sites UK nationwide for site visits. Responsibilities: On-Site Audits: Conduct regular audits on telecoms deployment sites to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Ensure that site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, company policies, and project requirements. Identify any noncompliance, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS): Review and assess site work instructions and RAMS to ensure that all health, safety, and environmental risks are appropriately addressed and mitigated. Work closely with deployment teams to ensure RAMS reflect the practical aspects of site work. H&S Escalation Point: Serve as the escalation point for H&S issues encountered by project and field teams, providing advice and practical solutions. Support field teams in resolving on-site H&S challenges and ensure immediate actions are taken when risks are identified. Incident Reporting & Management: Report and manage any incidents or near misses on-site, ensuring thorough investigation and implementation of corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of site audit findings and incidents, ensuring reports are shared with internal stakeholders and clients as necessary. Compliance & Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of work being completed on-site, ensuring it meets client specifications and industry standards. Support project teams in meeting environmental compliance requirements during the deployment process. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and safety improvements and work with the project team to implement best practices. Keep up to date with the latest HSEQ regulations, industry trends, and innovations, ensuring the team is informed of any changes. Key Requirements: Experience: Solid understanding of telecoms infrastructure, specifically in RAN and microwave radio deployment on remote sites. Previous experience conducting HSEQ audits or inspections in high-risk environments such as construction or telecoms. Qualifications: Formal H&S training (NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent) is highly desirable. Additional relevant qualifications (e.g., IOSH, SMSTS) are advantageous. Additional qualifications in quality and environmental management are advantageous. Skills & Attributes: Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation. Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy and dynamic schedule of site audits. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with deployment teams and senior management. Self-motivated, flexible attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and proactive issue resolution.
