About the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief of Staff - Creative Operations to drive operational excellence and delivery across our Creative, Marketing, and Communications teams. This pivotal role will be responsible for the connection between the Founder and the Marcomms teams, maintaining streamlined processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic projects.
We're looking for someone who will combine strong project management expertise, with a deep understanding of creative and marketing operations. You will have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. The successful candidate will naturally go above and beyond, with resilience and enthusiasm, always staying 10 steps ahead.
As a Chief of Staff, Creative Operations you will
1. Partner with the Founder and senior leadership to organise and execute the strategic vision for creative, marketing and communications initiatives.
2. Develop and maintain operational strategies across the marcomms teams to improve the efficiency, quality and delivery of creative output.
3. Oversee the end-to-end management of key projects, ensuring there is a clearly communicated critical path in place and budgets are met.
4. Day-to-day liaison between the business leaders to ensure the successful activation of key business initiatives, ensuring alignment and accountability.
5. Liaise on critical issues and collaborate with/coordinate Founder and business leaders to resolve.
6. Act as first point of review for presentations and proposals requiring the Founder’s approval and ensuring appropriate briefing meeting with internal stakeholders are actioned.
7. Act as the central point for Creative, Marketing and Communications teams, ensuring alignment and seamless collaboration.
8. Develop and refine creative and marketing workflows to increase speed, consistency, and output quality.
9. Organise documentation and help to prepare the Founder for meetings and events. Attend meetings with, and on behalf of, the Founder, taking minutes and communicating actions and follow up.
10. Coordinate and/or lead ad-hoc strategic projects, presentations, and briefs of strategic importance to Founder.
About you
11. Experience working in a highly creative and high growth company.
12. Functional expertise within a business operations and management.
13. Ideally experience of working in a Founder led creative business.
14. Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
15. Proven success in planning and leading cross functional projects and teams.
16. Analysis and manipulation of data & budgets to enable decision making.
17. Excellent workload prioritisation and ability to multi-task whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
18. Strong reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
19. Comfortable with ambiguity, change, demonstrating resilience and ability to work at pace.
20. Strong EQ, diplomatic, gracious with a good dose of common sense and judgement.
21. Can demonstrate ability to build productive relationships across all levels, with strong influencing and networking skills.
22. Utterly discreet and used to managing confidential information and project.
