Aspire People are proud to be working with a small specialist environment for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a maximum of 5 pupils per class, they focus on delivering tailored academic support, fostering social development, and addressing emotional well-being.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our SEMH provision. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our pupils both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans and create a safe and supportive environment where each pupil can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
- Assisting with the delivery of tailored academic lessons and activities.
- Supporting pupils' emotional and social development through positive reinforcement and guidance.
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
- Working closely with other professionals to monitor and review pupil progress.
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping to manage challenging situations in a constructive manner.
