Role Summary / Purpose and ScopeThe Building Consultancy team has a proven track record across all sectors providing quality market leading commercial advice, experience and knowledge on all stages of the property life-cycle. The experienced team provides a suite of services ranging from Building Surveys, Technical Due Diligence, Dilapidations, Defect Analysis, Licence for Alterations, Contract Administration, Employers Agent and Project Management.You will gain experience from a wide range of instructions. You will need to be looking for the added value in jobs and have confidence to put your views forward within the growing team within the company.Skills, Knowledge and ValuesSkills (People & Technical)Ownership for the progression of projects, works and completion thereof, inline with internal standards and legislative requirements while working alongside, internal and external clients and meeting agreed financial, operational and time expectations and constraints
Delivering instructions in collaboration with internal and external colleagues and clients.
Demonstrate understanding of relevant legislative requirements including sustainability, health and safety and compliance
Working with the Client Leads to understand and work towards the clients objectives and develop strategies for each building meeting service delivery expectations as well as assist in any pitches for expanded or new work
An understanding of the rationale behind the building surveying opportunities and showing a readiness to engage.
Be actively involved in all new business pitches, tenders or presentations, assisting with strategy, creation and completion of all relevant documents
Engaging with strategic objectives and lead autonomously BC instruction types and complexities
Auto CAD proficient
Able to hit deadlines, targets and KPIs on tasks/instructions
Excellent organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages
Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role
Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework
