The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are delighted to partner with a reputable dealership in Aldershot to find an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving service department, providing exceptional customer care and supporting the team in achieving departmental success.
The ideal candidate will bring motor trade experience, ideally with familiarity in 1link (although not essential), and a proactive attitude to deliver a seamless and professional experience to customers.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:
Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional approach.
Schedule appointments for vehicle servicing and repairs.
Maintain accurate service records, ensuring customer information is up-to-date in the system.
Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicles, ensuring a 5-star experience.
Address customer queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Promote additional services, products, and maintenance plans to maximise revenue.
Collaborate with service technicians and the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
The Package:
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 basic (DOE) with potential to earn £34,000 with C-Service Accreditation.
Bonuses: Up to £2,000 (departmental bonus based on CSI and service package targets).
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 (1-hour lunch break).
Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays included in the package. Additional Saturdays paid as overtime at time +1/2.
Holidays: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
