Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Data Analyst to join their team. This role involves migrating and consolidating core systems and data to new platforms. The analyst will conduct in-depth data analyses to identify trends and actionable insights, aiding the Facilities Team in making data-driven decisions and enhancing operational performance.
As a Facilities Management Data Analyst, the successful candidate will report to the FM Systems and Commercial Manager. The role involves undertaking various data activities, including analysing and cleansing the current state of the data, addressing data quality issues, and engaging in tasks such as data modelling, data lineage, classification of data, and standardisation of reference and master data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
You will present data and insights in reports, dashboards, and presentations, helping to turn data into actionable decisions. You will support Facilities by creating data reports and working closely with the FM Operations Team to improve data quality, aid decision-making, and plan strategic facility projects.
Analyse large volumes of complex data throughout the entire life-cycle, identifying issues and opportunities.
Tailor communications for diverse stakeholders to ensure clarity and impact.
Conduct root-cause analysis for data errors, trend analysis, gap analysis, and impact analysis on various datasets, making recommendations as needed.
Understand and map key data requirements from the Facilities Management Team and broader business stakeholders.
Produce ad-hoc reports and data visualisations to meet specific requests.
Define and implement data quality metrics and controls across operational data systems to monitor and improve data quality.
Provide technical expertise and serve as the first point of contact for analytics queries from non-data-oriented colleagues, offering guidance on how analysis can support their daily roles.
What do you need?:
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to narrate data-driven stories.
Strong interest in data and analytics, focusing on enhancing workplace experiences.

Proficient in Excel and SQL, capable of reading, writing, executing, and understanding key concepts.
Experienced in using Business Intelligence tools like Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
Knowledgeable and interested in Facilities Management, including building data sources such as BMS, utility usage, office occupancy, space/resource management, maintenance schedules, and asset management.
Background in working within Delivery, Property Services, or Facilities Management environments (preferred but not essential).
