With a strong presence in 600 Sephora doors across the US and Canada, as well as Sephora and Selfridges in the UK and Brown Thomas in Ireland, REFY continues to expand its footprint in the global beauty market.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing activities for all of our retail partners in the UK/EU and North America. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive awareness, consideration, and sales of REFY products within our key retail partners, including Sephora (US, Canada, UK), Selfridges (UK) and Brown Thomas (IRE).
You will own the relationships with these retailers, ensuring that our brand is optimally represented and that our marketing efforts are seamlessly integrated with their platforms and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Retail Partner Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key retail partners (Sephora US, Sephora Canada, Sephora UK, Selfridges UK, Brown Thomas IRE).
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all trade marketing initiatives and collaboration with retail partners.
3. Regularly communicate with retail partners to align on marketing goals, product launches, and promotional activities.
2. Marketing Strategy Development & Execution:
1. Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies that align with both REFY's brand objectives and the specific goals of each retail partner.
2. Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Digital, Retail, Commercial) to ensure a cohesive marketing approach that integrates retailer marketing into broader brand plans.
3. Design and execute marketing campaigns and in-store activations that enhance brand visibility, drive consumer engagement, and increase sales within retail channels.
3. Retailer-Specific Campaign Management:
1. Plan and manage retailer-specific campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and seasonal activations.
2. Work closely with retail partners to optimize REFY’s presence on their digital and in-store platforms, including visual merchandising, product displays, and online content.
3. Track and analyze the performance of trade marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
4. Budget Management:
1. Manage trade marketing budgets for all markets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
2. Negotiate and secure additional marketing support and opportunities with retail partners to amplify REFY's presence.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
1. Liaise with internal teams to align on product availability, inventory management, and promotional timelines to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
2. Collaborate with the commercial team to identify and leverage growth opportunities within each retail partner.
6. Market Analysis & Insights:
1. Conduct regular market analysis to understand consumer trends, competitive landscape, and retailer performance.
2. Utilize insights to refine marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for brand growth within retail channels.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or brand management within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with major retail partners, particularly in the beauty sector.
* Strong understanding of the US and UK retail landscapes, with experience working with Sephora and/or Selfridges preferred.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Passion for beauty and a deep understanding of the industry trends and consumer behavior.
